Library
Sri Kuvempu Mahavidyalaya First Grade College, library was started along with the establishment of the college in the year 1973. The library has made steady progress over the years by enriching its collection of reading materials, automating the library functions and expanding facilities for its users.
The library has been computerized in all aspects of library services and management like, Acquisition, Circulation, Cataloguing and serials management along with barcode technology.
Library Collections
Collection of the Library includes many valuable books, dealing with diverse topics of interest specially suited to students. Reference tools, consisting of Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Yearbooks, quiz books and books on various disciplines are also available.

Instructions
- Students can borrow 2-3 library books on 3 library borrow cards for a two weeks.
- Renewal of the books will depend on availability and requirement of the same by others.
- Loss of ID-Card/Borrower cards should be reported to the librarian immediately.
- Issue of duplicate ID-card as well as borrow cards will be made against due charges.
- Students can avail the facility of reference books / journals / periodicals within the library premises only against reference-cards.
- A fine Rs.2 per day will be charged on late return of books issued on library borrow cards.
